Driwall™ Masonry Mortar Deflection 0.50-040 is a 0.375 inch (9 mm), three dimensional geometric patterned core, masonry mortar deflection products designed to catch and hold mortar droppings. The product allows moisture to pass through but suspends debris above the flashing but below the face of the interior wall in order to allow moisture to flow through to weep holes. Driwall™ Mortar Deflection 0.50-040 is placed in a strip horizontally in a 1.0 inch (2.5 cm) or less cavity wall. It is designed to be 10.0 inches (25.4 cm) high within the structure. Made from Polypropylene, Driwall™ Mortar Deflection HELPS PREVENT MOLD and does not absorb moisture like other products made from Polyamide.
