Driwall™ Rainscreen 075-1 MC is a 0.75-inch, random filament, cuspated geometric patterned core laminated to a breathable, tri-laminate, non-woven membrane. This ventilation and drainage mat is designed to provide an assured clean cavity wall. It is produced from an extruded polymer matrix of tangled monofilaments. The monofilaments are heat welded at the junctions to form a resilient structure that creates a three dimensional space in a masonry cavity wall. This space provides the perfect drainage and ventilation medium for both liquid and moisture vapor. The breathable membrane lets no liquid moisture pass while assuring that the wall has the opportunity to breathe with the 90% air core providing perfect spacing.
