Quiet Qurl^® 65/075 MC is a nominal 0.75 inch, random filament, cuspated geometric patterned core laminated to a breathable membrane, sound control mat designed to limit impact noise between floors. It is produced from an extruded polymer matrix of tangled monofilaments. The monofilaments are heat welded at the junctions to form a resilient structure that absorbs noise when sandwiched in a ‘Mass/Spring/Mass’ building design. The product is designed for retrofit of existing buildings where a ceiling assembly is not utilized. In critical areas of new construction, 65/075 will add approximately 35 extra IIC points.

Quiet Qurl^® 65/075 MC prevents liquid moisture in lightweight concrete and gypsum concrete from passing through to the substrate – an essential quality for wood frame construction. Quiet Qurl^® 65/075 MC, a CLASS A fire rated product, allows moisture to continue to evaporate from the bottom side of the topping pour but prevents trapped moisture since it continues to allow moisture vapor to pass through.
