Part # 01-X-0057 | Thickness 0.25 Inches / 6 mm

Noise Control for Apartment Construction, Code Compliance Achievable with all Joist Types and Finishes

Quiet Qurl® 025 is a sound control mat designed to limit impact noise between floors. This resilient mat absorbs noise when sandwiched in a mass-spring-mass building design.

Designed for critical applications in which gypsum concrete will be utilized, Quiet Qurl 025 prevents liquid moisture from passing through to the substrate – an essential quality for wood frame construction.

Quiet Qurl Perimeter Isolation roll

Quiet Qurl® Perimeter Isolation

The Perimeter Isolation Strip is a specialized accessory designed to maximize the effectiveness of the Quiet Qurl® sound mat systems. By ensuring a physical separation between the flooring assembly and adjacent walls, this strip plays a crucial role in Keene’s “mass-spring-mass” sound abatement philosophy, effectively preventing flanking paths for sound transmission. The inclusion of the Perimeter Isolation Strip in any Quiet Qurl® installation is essential for achieving the desired level of sound control, making it a staple in both residential and commercial projects focused on creating acoustically isolated environments.
