Quiet Qurl® 040

Part # 01-X-0064 | Thickness 0.40 Inches / 10 mm

High Performance for Condo-Grade Noise System

Quiet Qurl® 040 is a noise control insulation mat designed to limit impact noise between floors. This resilient mat absorbs noise when sandwiched in a mass-spring-mass building design.

This mat prevents liquid moisture in lightweight concrete and gypsum concrete from passing through to the substrate, which is an essential quality for wood frame construction.

Quiet Qurl Perimeter Isolation roll

Quiet Qurl® Perimeter Isolation

The Perimeter Isolation Strip is a specialized accessory designed to maximize the effectiveness of the Quiet Qurl® sound mat systems. By ensuring a physical separation between the flooring assembly and adjacent walls, this strip plays a crucial role in Keene’s “mass-spring-mass” sound abatement philosophy, effectively preventing flanking paths for sound transmission. The inclusion of the Perimeter Isolation Strip in any Quiet Qurl® installation is essential for achieving the desired level of sound control, making it a staple in both residential and commercial projects focused on creating acoustically isolated environments.
